Pros Of Cam Locks
The locks are easy to handle and assemble. Other locks may require specialized tools for assembling and fixing onto furniture, this lock does not need anything. It would only require a soft-head mallet and cross-head screwdriver.
The damage caused is minimal. If the screws of these locks are over-tightened, the wood in and around the area may crumble. This is true for all locks. But for this lock, the damage can be fixed with wood putty. Fixing the damage caused by other locks require more effort than some mere wood putty.
